Exploring how three contrasting popular and long established environmental documentaries, through their use of direct address and audience identification can be used for pedagogical purposes. The lack of environmental literacy around food stands out as a pervasive environmental danger, while such eco-documentaries have an important role in persuasively communicating to mass audiences.
