The Ulster Covenant and Declaration was signed by over 438,000 individuals across Ulster in opposition to Home Rule in September 1912. This paper aims to outline some of the geographies of the event, including where the signing of these documents occurred; the buildings / sites / locations that were used for these signing ceremonies and identifying the local organisers of this event. Collectively these geographies highlight and illustrate the regional variations and nuances of Unionism and opposition to Home Rule across Ulster in 1912.
