Although early research has pointed to the fact that the successful intervention and resolution of cyberbullying incidents is to a large degree dependent on such incidents being reported to an adult caregiver, the literature consistently shows that adolescents who have been bullied tend not to inform others of their experiences. However, the reasons underlying reluctance to seek adult intervention remain undetermined. Understanding the factors that influence adolescent resistance will assist caregivers, teachers and those involved in the formulation of school anti-bullying policies in their attempts to counter the cyberbullying phenomenonre should be a space before of 12-point and after of 30-point.
