Abstract

All-optical wavelength conversion of data modulated in the DQPSK format at 10 GBaud is demonstrated experimentally using four-wave mixing in a semiconductor optical amplifier. The effect of the phase noise of pump lasers on the converted data is analyzed. © 2013 IEEE.
