This instrument facilitates characterisation and isolation of individual cells with defined characteristics using high-throughput, multiplex analysis. Information regarding cell cycle / ploidy, proliferation, apoptosis, multicolour immunophenotyping (membrane, cytoplasmic and nuclear), flow-fluorescent in-situ hybridisation, autophagy, functional calcium flux analysis, rare population (stem-cell) identification, protein phosphorylation, genetically engineered reporter molecule expression and protein secretion may be performed using this highly sensitive method. Once cells with required characteristics have been identified they may be further isolated using the instrument’s sorting facility to provide live cell clones. These individual cells may be utilised for a wide range of applications including biopharmaceutical, stem cell, cancer and haematological analysis. |
