In the Nanobio-analytical Research Facility (NRF) there are two large labs specifically designed for synthetic chemistry work. They were specified by synthetic chemists to provide researchers with the 'tools' to ensure processes are reproducible and reliable. Space in these labs can be requested through the STEP-IN manager.
